Dr. Tracey Hunter is a clinical psychologist based on the Gold Coast, Australia, with 25 years experience in supporting people who want to release old patterns of coping and surviving, and become a more empowered, healthy and whole version of themselves.

Tracey completed a PhD in Clinical Psychology at Griffith University in 2005, and in 2011 was accepted into the International Certification Program for Schema Therapy in New York with the developer of Schema Therapy, Dr. Jeffrey Young. She became one of the first accredited trainers in Schema Therapy in Australia, and provided workshops all over Australia as well as internationally online since 2012.  In 2015, Tracey was the lead organiser in inviting Dr. Scott Kellogg from New York to run his Transformational Chairwork training across several cities in Australia, and she continues to use and teach chairwork techniques in her approach to healing and emotional wellbeing in her supervision, 1:1 coaching and workshops.

In 2019, Tracey developed The Wellbeing Codes with her colleague Dr. Rachel Wheeler, which is a holistic framework for emotional wellbeing based on the Schema Therapy model. For the past 5 years, Tracey has been busy developing novel ways of re-thinking therapy and healing, by offering workshops and programs that focus on the positive wellbeing outcomes and positive emotional states that clients are seeking when they engage in therapy or coaching.

Tracey is a mum of two teenage girls, and is in a loving relationship with her partner of 10 years. She enjoys travelling, bush walks, paddle boarding, yin yoga, seeing her friends, electronic dance music, and learning about cryptocurrency. She is passionate about helping people turn inwards to find their hidden strengths and resources. Tracey is available for mentoring and professional supervision, in-house training, and 1:1 schema coaching.
